Haihong Hu, MPH, MS is a senior data consultant for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI) of the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG). Haihong has been in her current role since 2019 and has been a research analyst programmer within MAPRI since 2012. She is involved in various types of research projects that utilize health care data. Her specific responsibilities include collaboration with investigators in the design of research studies and methodologies, including the design of databases for research projects. As part of her collaboration with investigators, she has been instrumental in the development of the Diabetes and Hepatitis B and C Registries. Her data content expertise from these registries has positioned her to have vital involvement in the analytical reporting, validation and interpretation of results related to Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Diabetes analyses for outcomes, publications and grants.

Haihong Hu graduated from George Washington University with a Master’s Degree of Public Health.
