Clinical Research Nurse
Alley is a Clinical Research Nurse at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI). She started her career in event management and international development working with organizations that focus on improving maternal and child nutrition worldwide including International Food Policy Research Institute, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition and 1,000 Days. Alley made the decision to transition into nursing after living and working for a non-profit based in Tanzania.
Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic, she worked for Johns Hopkins Hospital on a cardiac step-down unit and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital on the hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant unit.
Alley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from University of Mary Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University.
