Mamta Bhatia is a Scientific Research Writer for the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI). Mamta started working for MAPRI in December 2019. She is responsible for translating physician-led research projects and initiatives into publication-ready abstracts and manuscripts, expediting dissemination of this critical work. She is currently working on various articles in Cardiology, Neurology and Nephrology.

Before joining MAPRI, Mamta was an intern at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and has worked as a Research Analyst at Taylor-Wilks Group a non-profit consulting firm in Baltimore, MD. Mamta completed her Master of Science degree in Global Health (MSGH) at Georgetown University and her undergraduate degree in Health Administration and Policy at University of Maryland Baltimore County.
